From Aug. 2022 - Aug. 2023, I served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at the Capital Area College Access Network (CapCAN). At CapCAN, I operated as a communications coordinator with goals of increasing college access resources among students in Michigan's Ingham and Eaton counties.
A few of CapCAN's campaigns I helped promote include:

#FAFSAFlocked: A campaign which encourages students and parents to fill out the FAFSA

Information about Scholarships: I piloted "12 Days of Scholarships" on TikTok where I promoted 12 different scholarships to apply to during the winter

Social Media Takeovers: College advisers from each of the high schools CapCAN partners with took over our social media for a week to show how they promote a college-going culture
